“Talom Purtam in it’s most simple and common narrative was what we tried to convey through images from the internet and to give it an interesting twist portrayed in a comic format. We tried to capture all of it’s key points but faced limitations, hence we decided to fill up those gaps through a write up.”

O. T. Lepcha, who ever so lovingly narrated, to the tee, a detailed story of Talom Purtam, which I know I have not exhibited, or have tried to, in our project, only because of the medium I chose that came with it’s own set of limitations.”

“It was challenging and exciting and everything one could expect when applying mental strength. I was unfamiliar with the details of the narrative, and found it difficult to understand when I heard it from different people. While I
was in the process of narrowing it down to hear from an authentic source, I found there were many like me. I wanted to have fun with our project from the start and figured why not do a comic format, something light and easy to read,
for those lots like me. So it started with a fun idea and hopefully have the same impact.”
