The ability to stay true to myself is what I value the most .

What is storytelling to me?

Storytelling is an art and it depends on the artist how they want to convey their expression. It is not confined to one single expression. We can express our story through so many medium such as painting, crafts, singing, dancing and writing, visual arts and many more.

What is sacred to me?

To be sacred is something which is holy, divine and  connected to our rituals.

I love books and plants. Reading has always been my hobby,it has shaped me in so many ways. Plant takes me closer to nature and fills me with positive energy. These are the aspects of my daily life that represents “Sacred” to me.

Finding my sacred place

Let me take you to My Utopia, my sacred place in nature which is surrounded by vast assortment of wildflowers and tranquil stream flowing among the rocks and the clear blue sky which is reason enough to uplift my spirit and I call myself the child of nature.–

I as a Lepcha

Being Lepcha makes me feel very special and unique. Lepcha people are very close to our mother earth and by birth we are nature worshippers. Lepcha shares a deep connection with nature and that’s our superpower which no one has.

“I took it as an opportunity to know my rich and unique culture and I could be a part of those people who are really working towards making our culture come alive and make known to the world at large. It is my responsibility to preserve my culture and share with the outside world.”

“I felt a strong emotional connection with my roots, which let me to realise the significance of our age-old practices and it instilled a sense of responsibility to contribute and preserve our rich tradition for future generation.”
