about me
Khamree mo gunka la… I am Lyangmit Lepcha and I am from Lingmoo, South Sikkim.
Actually, I didn’t know the actual meaning of my name but according to my family the meaning of my name is the “Queen of the place”, Lyangmit is a combination of two words “Lyang” means place or land and “mit” means queen or goddess.
The thing that I value most about myself is I am too dedicated towards my work and I give my best.
What is storytelling to me?
I came to know a lot of things in understanding storytelling like we can make videos for more understanding.
What is sacred to me?
Something that we worship and give respect and honour and preserve for our upcoming generation.

Here you can see the picture of my village which I adore the most. Village is where our story begins with lots of childhood memories. The most beautiful gift of our village is that it gives one pleasure. There’s no time to be bored in a world as beautiful as this.
